Mark Allan Greene
I am an author, playwright, and lawyer who grew up in Saint John, New Brunswick. As a child, I explored the many buildings, monuments, and historic locations where the ghosts of the past still remain. This sparked my desire to resurrect the epic stories that shaped the Maritimes, including the Great Saint John Fire of 1877. I now live in Edmonton, Alberta, but will forever be a Maritimer.
Greg Marquis
I teach Canadian and criminal justice history at the University of New Brunswick Saint John, where I am a member of the Department of History and Politics. I received my PhD in History from Queen’s University. I am the author of seven books, the most recent of which is Canada’s State Police: 150 Years of the RCMP (Lorimer, 2024). I live in Quispamsis, New Brunswick.
